THE MASKS
MONDAY, 20th JULY 2009 THE MASK
Last Monday, Mr Wan Burhanuddin had given an assingment on making a mask.Everybody should work in pairs to make the mask.The mask must be the same as our real face.The colour of our skin and whatever on our face should be the same on the mask.
Tools and ingredients needed in making the mask:
Last Monday, Mr Wan Burhanuddin had given an assingment on making a mask.Everybody should work in pairs to make the mask.The mask must be the same as our real face.The colour of our skin and whatever on our face should be the same on the mask.
Tools and ingredients needed in making the mask:
- white egg
- tissue
- white A4 paper
- scissors
- white glue
- pail
- water
- container
- brush
- water colour
- black marker
- Pour the white egg into the container and apply it on our face.
- Tear the tissue into small pieces, dip it in the white egg and paste onto face.
- Leave it for about 20 minutes to make it dry.
- While waiting the white egg and tissue to dry,pour water into the pail.
- Tear the A4 paper into small pieces and soaked it in the water.
- After 20 minutes, take the wet A4 paper pieces, put white glue on it and paste it onto face.Make sure the paper cover all over your face uniformly.
- Dry it for about 20 minutes, and repeat the steps to make another layer until you satisfied with the thickness.
- After all the process finish, leave it dry on your face about 20 minutes.
- Slowly open the mask from your face, and let it dry under the sunlight for a day to make sure it really dry.
- Take a pair of scissors to edit the mask wherever you need.
- Make sure you feel comfortable with the mask.
- Use water colour and brush to paint the mask.
- Leave it dry and draw the eye brow with black marker.
BIG BANG
THURSDAY, 9TH JULY 2009 FIRST MOMENT OF BIG BANG
Today, the BIG BANG activity had started.We need to gather at E48 building at 5.30p.m. the first activity is playing futsal and netball.Who are interested in playing netball need to go to main field and who are interested to play futsal need to go to futsal courts near the hockey stadium.Futsal is my favourite games thats why I choose to go to futsal courts.The game started with junior student vs junior student.The winner are then compete with senior student to win.There are two futsal courts.One is for mens and womens is for girls.The BIG BANG activities are organised by HBP senior students.The games is very joyful.At the futsal field the games won by the senior teams.I can see the good effort in both teams to win.There are also good cooperation between each of the players in the team.The games finished at 7.30 p.m.Although we are very tired but we get a very meaningful memory.We need to apply the teamwork and give a very good effort in our daily live not only in games to create success.Everyone enjoy this activity although they show an exhausted face.
FRIDAY, 10TH JULY 2009 SECOND DAY OF BIG BANG
On the second day of big bang,we need to continue yesterday games.We all went to futsal court to watched the games.But it is to bored to watched the player playing futsal.My group leader which are seniors student take my group to walk around the stadium while walking they introduce us to all the places.There are many type of courts.There are tennis court, futsal courtrunning track,long jump track and hockey field.After we take a look around the Hockey Stadium, our leader gather us in a group to make an 'ice-breaking'.Through this activity i can meet many new friends.There are nine members in my group.There are also a foreign student fom China in my group.They are very friendly.That evening program ends at 7.00 p.m.
On that night, we had another ice-breaking.In the ice-breaking activity,we all divided into 18 groups.I am in group 6.Every groups need to make a sculpture and create a cheer for our group.My group name is Boombastic.we also need to explain the reason why we create the sculpture.This activity are very enjoyable.I reallyappreciate this experience.the activity ends at 1.30 a.m.On that night, it is a heavy rain.We all need to wait until the rain stop but the rain still dont stop.We wait until 2.30 a.m,the rain still heavy we make a decission to walk through the rain.This is the first time I walk in the rain.This is an unforgetable experience for me.
SATURDAY, 11TH JULY 2009 THIRD DAY OF BIG BANG
I felt very lazy to attend the activity that morning but i still force myself to wake up.The activity started at 10 a.m that morning.the activity is 'soft landing'.Soft landing is we need to make a gadjet from straw, rope, news paper and egg.the gadjet should land the egg safely.We are given two hours to produce the gadjet.The marks are given by the softest and the longer the time of the egg to land the highest the mark given.The activity ends at 12 p.m.After lunch we all need to gather in front of the computer lag to launched our gadjet from the third floor of the building.My groups success in land the egg safely.We got second place for this activity.There are also two groups which are not successly land their egg and break it.this activity are very exciting.It ends at 4.30 p.m.
On that night, we all need to gather at the same place.The activity for that night, is explorace.There are 8 station that we must complete.At every station there must be a cerative activity which challenge our mind.All these challenge makes me become a very creative person.Besides that, we also had been introduced to the places in HBP corner.All these make us know where DRUM and studio located.The funniest thing is we need to cover our face with flour solution like a mask all over our face and cannot wash it until the activity ends.My group which combines with group 5 win a first prize in this activity.The activity ends at 1.30 a.m.that night we also need to walk in the rain as yesterday.
SUNDAY, 12TH JULY 2009 THE LAST DAY FOR BIG BANG
That morning we need to gather at 10 a.m.The activity is discuss with group member to make a performance for our grand dinner.My group get a task to make a performance on metamorphosis themes.All members in my group give a good cooperation to make the performance.We are free to make any performance according to the themes.My group make a performance which combines music, dance and drama.
However we dont get any prize for this activity, but we still satisfied with our performance.Our grand dinner held at the same place and start on 8.30 p.m.everyone must wear mask to attend the grand dinner.We enjoy our dinner very much.That night we all had introduced to many of the senior students.They also choose a king and queen for our batch.The king title goes to Faiz and the queen title goes to Farah.The food for our dinner are BBQ chicken,fried meehoon,sausage,fried rice and orange juice.The grand dinner ends at 12.30 p.m.

WHEN TO READ
Today i had learnt about read.According to Mr. Wan Burhanuddin, we have to read at anytime and anywhere we need.We need eyes, ears, and heart to read.Eyes and ears are used to detect what we want to read and heart is to understand what we had read.
WHAT TO READ
There are six things that we have to read.Firstly, is intention.Intention is what we think, idea, aim,objective and others.Secondly, is act.Act is actions that comes from intention.Act is what actions we must take to make sure our aim success.Thirdly is product.Product is something we got from the actions.We must also read actors.Actors is the person who take the actions.In addition,we also needs to read the rules.Rules is the precautions to do something.There must be the DO's and DON'Ts when we do something.There must be a reason why we have rules and lastly, what we have to read is site.Site is where the actions takes place.The simplest things to read is actors.

There are five tools that we need to read.We need documents such as articles,magazine, news paper and others.We also need to communicate with others to read.Besides that, we also need design to read.In adddition, construct and serve also needed as tools to read.
ORIGINALITY Vs PLAGIARISM
Other than that, Mr. wan Burhanuddin also told us about originality and plagiarism.Plagiarism means copiying something that someone created without permissions.If we get caught because of plagiarism wewill get penalty.We must not copt others work without their permissions. Originality is very important because it makes we know the true colour of someone characters.
TEN PROJECT
Before the sessions end, we need to find ten projects from 16 group.In every groups all the courses in housing, building and planning (HBP) involves.These project will make us very friendly with student in other courses in HBP.All the project will be guided by 16 studio masters.
INTRODUCTION TO ALL THE STUDIO MASTERS
We also had been introduced to all the studio masters according to their courses.This sessions make us know who we need to see if we got any problem.
INTRODUCTION TO 'BIG BANG'
At the end of the sessions, the seniors students from HBP school who incharge in the orientation week for new HBP students collect money from us for the activity.We need to pay RM36.From what the senior said, the RM36 is for our tea, grand dinner, and HBP shirts.The orientation week is known as BIG BANG.the seniors also told us the briefing of the activity.I hope the activities will be very interesting.BIG BANG wiil start on 9th to 12th JULY 2009.

PROJECT 3A:PERSPECTIVE DRAWING
On the first sheet, I draw five boxes as a symbol of five members in my family.I have three siblings and my parents.The biggest box is my father and the smallest box is me because I am the youngest child in my family.
On the second sheet, I also draw five open boxes to show my family is an open-minded family.All members in my family free to discuss everything with my parents.
On the third sheet, I draw two translucent cubes with background of my brothers wearing sarong after cane back from raya prayer.
